This Sydney award-winning heritage consultancy in the Eastern Suburbs was established in 1991 by Helen Wilson. With a large range of best practice heritage services, we assist with and advise on best solutions for our clients who range from small and large scale private property owners and developers, to local, state and federal government departments, agencies and institutions, and non-government organizations. No two projects are the same, and this small practice provides focussed and experienced professional advice to clients to address their particular project.

Helen Wilson
Helen Wilson, Principal of Helen Wilson Heritage Conservation Design, is a heritage consultant with more than 30 years’ experience.
Helen was a member of the Australia ICOMOS Executive Committee (2007-2013) and served as Secretary of Australia ICOMOS (2009-2013) and has carried out World Heritage Desk Reviews. Helen is an Expert Member of CIVVIH, the ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on Historic Towns and Villages. She is also an expert member of ISCES+CC, the ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on Energy, Sustainability and Climate Change and Co-Convener of NSCES, the Australia ICOMOS National Scientific Committee on Energy and Sustainability. She is a Co-opted Member of the ICOMOS CCHWG (Climate Change and Heritage Working Group) . She is a member of the National Trust of Australia (NSW) and served on the Urban Conservation Committee and as a Judge on the NT/Energy Australia Awards.
Helen was a founding member of the Heritage Advisory program set up by the NSW Heritage Office and is amongst the most experienced heritage advisors to local government in Australia, having provided heritage advisory services to many NSW councils in regional and urban areas around NSW.
